b. Santo André, Brazil, lives and works as a nomad.

Plastic artist and ceramist, born in Santo André, raised by a family of mostly women: grandmother, mother and aunts. Graduated in Letters, from the University of São Paulo (2016), and specialized in Visual Arts (2020), from the Panamerican School of Art and Design, she began her artistic career in documentary photography of her own family and, later, in cinema, adapting literary works through the Os Satyros Company.

In 2021, she was part of the Painting Study Group: Practices and Reflection, led by the artist and professor Paulo Pasta, at Tomie Ohtake Institute; of the Artistic Life Practices Group, under the guidance of the artist and professor Anna Costa e Silva; at the Escola de Artes Plásticas do Parque Lage (RJ) and Ateliê Fotô (SP); and by the Ceramist Club, coordinated by the MuBE (Brazilian Sculpture Museum) professor, Eliana Tsuru.

Artista plástica e ceramista, nascida em Santo André, criada por uma família majoritariamente de mulheres: avó, mãe e tias. Formada em Letras, pela Universidade de São Paulo (2016), e especializada em Artes Plásticas (2020), pela Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design, iniciou sua trajetória artística na fotografia documental da própria família e, depois, no cinema, com adaptação de obras literárias por meio da Companhia Os Satyros.

Em 2021, fez parte do grupo de estudos Pintura: Práticas e Reflexão, do artista e professor Paulo Pasta, no Tomie Ohtake; do grupo Práticas Artísticas de Vida, sob orientação da artista e professora Anna Costa e Silva, na Escola de Artes Plásticas do Parque Lage (RJ) e no Ateliê Fotô (SP); e do Clube dos Ceramista, coordenado pela docente do MuBE, Eliana Tsuru.

Statement

Her works relates different languages, such as writing, ceramics, embroidery, video and painting, with the intention of exploring the strength of subjective expressiveness and its connection with the collective, permeating universes that seek to reflect on the image of women in the world and the social weight of inhabiting the female-body.

Seu trabalho relaciona diferentes linguagens, como escrita, cerâmica, bordado, vídeo e pintura, com a intenção de explorar a força da expressividade subjetiva e sua conexão com o coletivo, permeando universos que buscam refletir sobre a imagem da mulher no mundo e o peso social de habitar o corpo-mulher.
