Bio | Visual Artist · Documentary Director · ProducerBased in Berlin, Germany My work moves between visual art and documentary film, focusing on how personal stories connect to broader human experiences. Originally trained in graphic art at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia, I later studied film directing and visual communication at the Academy of Arts in Hamburg, under the mentorship of Prof. Gerd Roscher and Wim Wenders. In both film and visual projects, I explore the relationship between the individual and the larger whole—often with a focus on quiet inner tensions, resilience, and perception. Brothers’ Dance, a short film exploring existential struggle during the collapse of Yugoslavia, became a cult piece known for its emotional depth and visual storytelling. I’m the co-founder of Clear Cut Films Documentary in Berlin, a production company focused on creative nonfiction and stories that examine the human condition. Collaborations include institutions such as Johns Hopkins University and the University of Bristol, particularly on projects that connect art with cognitive science. My project Colors in My Eye, about a young visually impaired female artist from a small town, was selected for the Beldocs Pitching Forum, MakeCoProDox and Dok.Forum München. The film reflects my ongoing interest in how visually impaired artist see the world—both literally and emotionally. Alongside filmmaking, I curate exhibitions and coordinate film events. One of my recent curatorial projects is a VR exhibition by Serbian artist Jelena Jakonić. The work simulates Jelena’s unique visual perception—seeing colors without defined shapes—which is not a common experience among visually impaired people. The exhibition offers an immersive insight into how she, and others with rare visual conditions, perceive the world, art, and themselves.
My work has been shown in exhibitions and film festivals, including “Euro-In Film” in Novi Sad and “Cinestrange” in Braunschweig, where I’ve participated as both artist and coordinator. |

Statement
Statement | Everything is one. An omnipresent force interconnects trees, water, clouds, animals, and people. I create to reveal that connection. My work is a meditation on existence—how singular forms emerge, dissolve, and rejoin the whole. Art becomes a way to listen. A way to remember. I follow the shapes that nature leaves behind. Echoes of breath in the forest. Light reflected in water. A gesture repeated across time. My artistic mission is to explore the relationship between form and formlessness. To sense the unity beneath fragmentation. To make visible what is often felt but unseen. Everything I make begins with the question: Where does the self end, and everything else begin? |
