Bio

Primo VicSol is a Latino visual artist of Bolivian descent. His work is deeply rooted in visionary art with a neo-expressionist style in order to explore the transformative power of the creative spirit, the exploration of consciousness, and the most powerful force in the universe: love!

As Primo, a nickname embraced in Argentina signifying “cousin,” he embodies the spirit of found family and connection. This aspect of his identity is represented by the acronym P.R.I.M.O.: Puertas Reales Iluminando Mundos Ocultos (Real Doors Illuminating Hidden Worlds). This phrase serves as a personal totem and a guiding principle, reflecting his belief that art acts as a portal to deeper understanding and expanded awareness, often inspired by his experiences with psychedelics and the creative act.

The other half of his artistic persona, VicSol, originated as a nickname at a US-based startup, given for his radiant energy and infectious positivity. This duality, mirrored in his Gemini nature, is evident in his artistic practice, which oscillates between abstract expressionism and geometric forms, all unified by his unwavering mantra: “Love is the message.”

Primo’s bilingualism (in English and Spanish) and multicultural heritage inform his perspective, enabling him to act as a cultural bridge. He is a passionate philosopher, striving to use his art not just as a form of self-expression but as a catalyst for thought and a celebration of love in all its forms. He seeks, above all, accessibility, creating art that invites viewers to connect with their own inner worlds and the universal experience of being. Three words define the foundation of his life and work: Amor, Veritas, and Sapientia (Love, Truth, Wisdom).
