Maria Seu




Luana Seu is a Romanian photographer currently based in NYC and Europe.

Her background is in the performing arts where her teenage years were spent competing and winning ballroom dance competitions. From there, she developed her acting skills at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC followed by another year in NYFA’s photography program.

Her work has won her prestigious awards such as the Jurors Picks of the Lens Culture Awards and a finals nomination for the ReFocus Awards in Color Photography 2023. Luana’s work has appeared in Forbes, Bloom, Mob Journal, Opium Red, 17:23 Magazine, Men Cruze, and many other international publications.

Her work is focusing on the diversity of art itself and all its “masks”.

“My work focuses on creating “worlds” based upon allegorical themes that include a diversity of subjects, stories, and cultural backgrounds. I aim to establish a deeply interpersonal and collaborative process of dynamic and cinematically-inspired stories with any type of client.  My responsibility as an artist is to empower and encourage people to be who they are.”
