Born in Kaunas, Lithuania, 1993.

In 2023 was granted MA of Fine art at Vilnius Academy of Arts, Edvinas is now living and working in New York after receiving a CIEE BAFF fellowship for the year 2023. Mostly focusing on easel painting, oil on canvas, the artist is versed in a variety of creative fields. As an emerging artist, Edvinas has participated in a few collective and solo exhibitions of note. His work mostly focuses on a philosophical approach to visual art. Creating concepts and researching principles is a strong diver for the search of captivation. In his art, Edvinas plays with the ideas of structure, hidden meaning, conceptualization and its fulfilment. Quoting professor Petras Lincevicius, he is “a thinking artist” and as such, is preparing for enrolment to a PhD in Fine arts graduate program.
