Bio

Julia Cavazzini Cunha is an artist, educator, and curator with a career spanning cultural institutions such as the Bienal Foundation, MASP, and Instituto Tomie Ohtake. Her research explores pedagogies in contemporary art, community practices, and the relationship between art and food cultures. She is most known for projects like curating the 6th edition of Arte & Sabor, where she developed a training program for cooks from public schools in São Paulo. Her research has also resulted in the book Arte à Mesa, published by Act, and her publication Frango de Capinha da Dona Lourdes by JAMAC. Additionally, she coordinates study groups focused on artistic processes and currently develops initiatives that connect art, community, and gastronomy, while also providing consulting services for cultural institutions and independent curatorial projects.
