Puberty is a strange time. The classes Trevor was taking in school and the cartoons he was watching at home were going into the same brain that was increasingly thinking about genitalia and anuses. Years later, looking back at those experiences, he began creating work that explored his adolescence, sexuality, and the body. His interest in the form of the human body led to an interest in two of its essential functions: pooping and peeing. Bathrooms are a space both clean and dirty. With the help of past dreams, he’s now designing bathrooms that investigate sterility, community, and shame.

A puberdade é um momento estranho. As aulas que Trevor estava tendo na escola e os desenhos que ele assistia em casa estavam entrando no mesmo cérebro que pensava cada vez mais em genitálias e ânus. Anos depois, relembrando essas experiências, começou a criar trabalhos que exploravam sua adolescência, sexualidade e corpo. Seu interesse pela forma do corpo humano o levou a se interessar por duas de suas funções essenciais: fazer cocô e fazer xixi. Os banheiros são um espaço limpo e sujo. Com a ajuda de sonhos passados, ele agora está projetando banheiros que investigam esterilidade, comunidade e vergonha.
