"Outside Creatures Such as We,” are about perverse figurations being seen in alien life forms combined into adult and adolescent stages of life. This process of phallic abjection in the pieces serves to speak to a desire of bringing out my own ordeals how I see sexuality, while also meditating on the balance between the complexity of light and dark thoughts on one’s own sexual orientation.
