Bio

Narra finds her creative spark in a combination of painstaking research, personal experiences, and core beliefs. She has a strong belief in the transcendent capacity of art to communicate beyond words and stir deep emotions. At the heart of her stories is a consistent message of kindness, a motif that runs throughout her work. In order to achieve dynamic storytelling and increased viewer engagement, she has experimented with digital animation in addition to her primary medium of oil paint on canvas and wood panels.

Narra’s artistic journey is motivated by a sincere desire to be a healer through her creations. This concept has guided her through a series of exhibitions characterized by serene and compassionate paintings that acknowledge the struggles and pain of individuals without undermining their experiences.

A central character in her exhibitions is “Naneri”. These young girls, clad in berets and uniforms, are a personification of enlightenment, empathy, and understanding. This figure represents the support system that extends a helping hand to troubled souls, embodying the essence of kindness and compassion. Each iteration of Naneri in her exhibits brings forth different characteristics, further enriching the narrative.

In her other series, Narra introduces her characters, the “Naneri/s”, who embark on a quest for their true identities in a world shrouded in illusion. Through her vivid portrayals, she addresses themes of identity, false perceptions, and the turmoil wrought by divisive beliefs.

Narra’s color palette, characterized by soft pastels and occasionally punctuated by glowing elements, complements the profound narratives she weaves. Her commitment to storytelling extends to the visual realm, as she employs her art to delve into the nature of reality, question materialism, and contemplate the limits of human consciousness.

Statement

Statement

In my artistic path, I explore the world of storytelling, believing that art has a transcendent ability to communicate emotions that words are unable to. My artistic process is practiced in the medium of oil paint on canvas and wood panels, with inspiration drawn from diligent research, personal experiences, and deeply rooted core beliefs.

A constant theme that runs through each of my stories is a message of kindness. Motivated by a genuine desire to be a healer through my art, I embark on a series of exhibitions characterized by serene and compassionate reflections on the struggles and pain inherent in the human experience. The main characters in my exhibitions are young girls, clad in berets and uniforms, a personification of enlightenment, empathy, and understanding. I call them “Naneri/s,” the revolutionaries of love. This character represents the support system that extends a helping hand to troubled souls, embodying the essence of kindness and compassion.

In another series titled “Children of the Moon” and “Traces of the First Light,” I introduce my characters, the “Naneri/s,” who embark on a quest for their true identities in a world shrouded in illusion. Through my vivid portrayals, I address themes of identity, false perceptions, and the turmoil wrought by divisive beliefs. Introducing my new chapter of enlightenment and discovery with the Naneri(s). These young girls navigate a dark forest with lamps in hand, symbolic of their youthful excitement and determined spirit. As they seek light amidst the shadows, they invite the viewers through their journey, inviting us to contemplate hope and change.

The color palette I use, which is characterized by soft pastels and occasional glowing elements, serves as a visual companion, enhancing the depth of the stories I weave. My commitment to storytelling extends beyond the limits of the canvas, prompting reflection on the very nature of reality, challenging common materialistic notions, and delving into unknown corners of human consciousness.

Through my art, I extend an invitation to viewers—an invitation to pause, reflect, and unearth their own connections within the intricately layered narratives I present. Within the embrace of my creations, I hope to awaken not only a visual experience but a profound journey into the recesses of human understanding, encouraging introspection and offering a glimpse into the transformative power of kindness and compassion.
