REITCHEL KOMCH
Reitchel Komch will talk a little about her recent works of installation and/or sculptural dimension, which explore the figure of Iroko, the guardian of ancestry. In Yoruba culture, Iroko is associated with the majestic trees that shelter all the orixás. These works are in development and will be part of a group exhibition at the end of July.
Reitchel Komch irá falar um pouco sobre seus recentes trabalhos de dimensão instalativa e/ou escultórica, que exploram a figura de Iroko, o guardião da ancestralidade. Na cultura Iorubá, Iroko está associado às majestosas árvores que abrigam todos os orixás. Essas obras estão em desenvolvimento e serão parte de uma exposição coletiva no final de julho.

Katia Politzer will present some of her ongoing research, which delves into the history of the Romani through the ancestral connections of her own family. The artist has produced a diverse array of works across various media, all inspired by this compelling theme. Additionally, she will offer an encompassing glimpse into her studio, where a collection of her creations, including ceramic heads and glass faces, will be showcased.
Katia Politzer apresentará um pouco de sua pesquisa atual, que investiga a história dos Romani a partir da ancestralidade de sua própria família. A artista tem produzido trabalhos em diferentes mídias com base nesse tema. Além disso, ela mostrará uma visão geral de seu ateliê, onde estão expostas obras que ela criou ao longo de sua trajetória, como cabeças de cerâmica e rostos de vidro.

Shelly B. Phillips is a contemporary multi-disciplinary and performance artist, she works the surfaces that reflect life and all that is contained within the nature of being. Often merging mediums of photography, painting, installation, and sculpture, Shelly researches life like a scientist. In her Open Studios she wants to discuss her work with the visitors.
