The Access tier is for artists ready to move from direction into visibility, connection, and deeper feedback.

You continue with the Monthly Study Tracks while expanding into a live ecosystem of critique sessions, curatorial meetings, and study groups with UA Advisors.
You gain full access to our platform—peer forums, direct messaging, a public Artist Profile, and eligibility for exhibitions, publications, and special projects.

Access also includes discounts on the Residency Program and makes you eligible for the UA Prize, which offers financial support for projects developed beyond Uncool Artist, including exhibitions, residencies, and production.

Uncool Artist Residency

Some phases call for full focus.

The Uncool Artist Residency offers a dedicated structure for artists who are ready to deepen their practice with attention, feedback, and clear outcomes.

All Access resources continue as your steady ground. Study Tracks, critique sessions, curatorial meetings, and peer exchange now unfold within a concentrated twelve-week residency. The program is divided into three four-week cycles, each focused on a specific phase: critique, processes, and project development.

Each week, you meet in a small group led by UAR Coordinators for in-depth dialogue and reflection. Each month, you also meet one-on-one with a mentor to address your specific challenges and direction.

Residency cycles lead toward shared outcomes like group exhibitions or publications. This is also an excellent space to build and refine projects that can be submitted for grants and awards, including the UA Prize.

You move through the work with consistency, challenge, and a sense of collective momentum.
This is a container for depth, designed to hold your practice while it transforms.
